Overview

The trip entails game drives, sight seeing, cultural encounters and rhino trekking. You will have all inclusive services with activities and meals on the trip with a very experienced tour guide who will be at your disposal. You will also be escorted by a game ranger where necessary.

Expect to experience pure untapped nature, the pearl of Africa has to offer. The southern white rhinos were at one point extinct in Uganda and therefore were reintroduced at Ziwa rhino sanctuary.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Kampala to Gulu

You will set off from your desired pickup point, very early in the morning. The driver will brief you on how the trip will transpire. You can make any inquiries to him if any.

There will be lunch enroute with a few breaks.

Main Destination: Kidepo Valley National park

Day 02 Gulu to Kidepo Valley National Park

You will have an early morning so that you can enjoy a game drive, on this day you can have a walk in the park.

There will be three main activities in the park that include, the game drives, walk in the park and cultural activities.

Depending on what you’d like, your tour guide will follow an order that you’ll find suitable. Therefore on this day you’ll have one activity and have another on day 3 / 4.

Though you can be rest assured that you’ll have game drives on each of these days.

Main Destination: Kidepo Valley National Park

Day 03 Kidepo Valley National Park ( KVNP)

After a very early breakfast, you’ll have a morning game drive and later a cultural experience or a walk in the park.

Day 04 KVNP to Ziwa rhino Sanctuary

You will have an early game drive and leave the park on this day. Then continue to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you’ll spend the night

Day 05 Rhino trekking and return to Kampala

You will have a unique experience of rhino trekking, getting to know the rare species of rhinos. You’ll also experience the nature in the sanctuary, very serene.

After the thrill, you’ll then return to Kampala.
